Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Wamsoft Group Limited is a company registered in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (company registration number 77212531, business registration number 77212531) with its registered office at Unit B53, 2/F, Kwai Shing Industrial Bldg, Phase 1, 36-40 Tai Lin Pai Road, Kwai Chung, NT, Hong Kong. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" mean that company. You can contact us at wamsoft_group@126.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the website at wamsoft.group and the enquiries submitted through it. It does not cover the privacy practices of a storefront operated by one of our customers, even where we fulfil orders for that storefront.

3. What we collect

Enquiry form. When you submit the enquiry form we collect the company name, your name, your email address, your country, the enquiry type, an optional estimated quantity and the message you write. We need these fields to answer your enquiry; the form marks the required ones.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data, including IP address, requested URL, user agent and timestamp. This is used for security and abuse prevention, including rate limiting on the enquiry form, and is retained only for as long as it is needed for that purpose.

We do not collect payment card data, bank details or identity documents through this website, and we ask you not to send them through the enquiry form.

4. Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies for analytics, advertising or profiling. It loads no third-party scripts, no external fonts, no advertising pixels, no social media embeds and no embedded maps. Every file the page loads is served from wamsoft.group. Because no tracking cookies are set, no cookie consent banner is shown.

If a self-hosted, privacy-respecting statistics tool is introduced in future, this policy will be updated before that happens.

5. Why we use it, and on what basis

We use enquiry data to respond to your enquiry, to prepare a quotation and to take steps you have asked for before entering into a contract. Where we contact you about a matter arising from an existing order, we rely on the performance of that contract. Where we keep records to defend legal claims or to meet accounting obligations, we rely on our legitimate interests and on applicable law.

6. Who we share it with

We use service providers to run this website and to send and receive email, including a hosting provider and an email provider. They process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law, by a court order, or by a payment provider or marketplace conducting a lawful compliance check, and where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any resulting order, and afterwards for the period required by accounting and tax rules. If an enquiry does not lead to a contract, we delete or anonymise it within 24 months.

8. Where your data is held

Our website is served from a global content delivery network and our email is hosted by an email provider. This means data may be processed outside Hong Kong. Where that happens we rely on the provider's contractual safeguards.

9. Your rights

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance of Hong Kong you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to request correction of data that is inaccurate, and to ask us to stop using your data for direct marketing. Requests can be made to wamsoft_group@126.com. We aim to respond within 40 days.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the applicable data protection law. Contact us and we will handle the request under the law that applies to you.

10. Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Enquiry submissions are transmitted over TLS and delivered to a mailbox protected by a password and, where available, multi-factor authentication. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise; if you believe data has been compromised, tell us at wamsoft_group@126.com.

11. Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

12. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of the page shows the current version.
